Reveal Yourself

This is what I call sexy! Far from the glamorous but featureless Chanel movie, Calvin Klein released its new perfume's campaign. For Reveal, the gorgeous Doutzen Kroes seduces Sons of Anarchy's hunk, Charlie Hunnam, by exhibiting herself.

Proving that she is not a Victoria's Secret's Angel for nothing, the magnificent model wears the well-know underwear of Calvin Klein like no one else.

This campaign is dealing with every woman wish to be sexy and to seduce the man she wants. With a bit of provocation, she is taking the lead and making the man come to her, contrary to the tradition. She has conscience of her power of attraction. She is a woman of today.

Sexy Mood Board

Let me introduce a new element of my blog, little skulls: the inspirational mood board. For the first one i choose the theme of sexiness. What is it to be sexy? To me, it is a mix of provocation, confidence and difference.

Charli XCX's Sucker

She is English. She is talented. She is provocative. The kind of girl that has guts and is not afraid to show them. I am sure you have already heard her song "Boom Clap", but it is too good not to share it. Hope you will like Charli XCX's talent as much as I do, Little Skulls!

Mister De La Renta

Today the world lost a great spirit, a man of distinction. Oscar de la Renta was not just a designer, he was a visionary that knew how to sublime woman. Its romantic and ultra feminine creations are real treasure. He contributed to reveal icons such as Jackie Kennedy by giving them elegance and grace.

Oscar de la Renta was born in 1932. He began his career on the side of Cristobal Balenciaga, who mentored him. His ascension started in the 60s after the launch of its own brand, which seduced women of the world, among them First Ladies, celebrities, actresses and politicians.

To celebrate one last time Oscar de la Renta, I selected few pictures of him and its legacy. May he rest in peace, we will never forget his unbelievable talent.

"The qualities I most admire in women are confidence and kindness."

Simply Jewelry

After few days off, I came back this morning on my Twitter to have a look to the news feed and I discovered this jewelry designer: Ariel Gordon Maffei. I went an her website to see her work and was quite amazed. The ex-PR girl is making fine, simple and elegant pieces that can suits every woman. Usually, I am not into gold but I am seduced by the charm of the jewels she creates.

Ariel Gordon Maffei's work is the kind that makes the difference between a nice outfit and a great outfit. It produces an elegant twist without being conspicuous. And that is what French like, flawless, effortless clothes and accessories.

Here are my favorite pieces of the current collection:

Gisele and Baz For Chanel Nº5

Gisele Bündchen is the new face of the mythic perfume of Chanel. The campaign is also the second collaboration between the French brand and the talented director, Baz Luhrmann.

This is a new era for Chanel Nº5 for many reasons:

  1. Gisele is the first model to endorse the perfume since the 80s.
  2. She also is a social media queen. The best example is the photo she posted to tease the collaboration and which generated a huge buzz last week.
  3. According this teasing, it seems that their is a will to empower the Chanel Nº5's woman.

Before releasing it, Chanel through a party reuniting models (Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid), ambassadors (Lily Allen), peoples and of course Gisele, Karl and Baz:

UPDATE: Discover the campaign:

Coach x Snoopy

The collaboration trend is continuing, and one of the most recent is also one of the cutest: Coach x Snoopy. The brand released few products which will remind you your childhood. Cute, sporty, flawless: one of my favorite co-branding of the autumn.

Want it ? Run to Colette!

Pharell's Vision of Ladurée

Nowadays Pharell Williams is everywhere! He collaborated with few brands to develop new products, such his perfume Girl with Comme Des Garçons. It is not surprising that one of the French institution, Ladurée, asked him to elaborate a limited edition of its bestseller.

Pharell Williams designed a box of 6 macarons with special flavors, exclusively sold at Colette. Sounds yummy!

Garry Winogrand: The Master of Street Photography

As I am passionate by photography, every time I stay in NYC I am going to some exhibitions. This summer I went to the MET Museum and discover the incredible work of Garry Winogrand. In the same artistic movement as Henri Cartier-Bresson, it is a reflection of the post-World War II society.  I was truly amazed. So when I learned that an exhibition would be organized in Paris, I thought I had to wrote about it because you can't miss it, little skulls!

From October 14th 2014 to February 8th 2015, come discover the work full of mischief and beauty of Garry Winogrand at Le Jeu de Paume Museum.
